Geography Intent at Upton Infant School:
At Upton Infant School, we have designed our Geography curriculum with the intent to inspire, excite and challenges our learners. It will instil a thirst for knowledge, fascination and admiration for the world around them. Our aim is for children to have a deepened understanding of the people, places, nature, human and physical geography that makes up our Earth today.
Our Geography curriculum is knowledge-based and progressive and begins immersing the children in the geography of their immediate environments and the local area of Upton. As they progress, they look to the geography of the United Kingdom and the world around them.
